Auricap XO lead wire is Auric OHNO "mono crystal" hook up wire, with XLPE insulation.

Audience sells this sensibly designed, down to earth, easy to work with, natural sounding hook up wire.

Auric wire is made of soft high purity stranded copper; each strand individually polished for better electron flow.

The insulation is high quality cross linked polyethylene that resists shrinking when soldered.

The polyethylene insulation has good dielectric properties, close to Teflon, so it sounds very good.

Audience makes two versions of Auric hook up wire; regular and OHNO (mono crystalline). The standard Auricap capacitor lead wire is Auric hook up wire. Audience sells this sensibly designed, down to earth, easy to work with, natural sounding hook up wire. Auric wire is made of soft high purity stranded copper; each strand individually polished for better electron flow. There are 19 strands in the 21 AWG and 30 strands in the 18 AWG. The insulation is high quality cross linked polyethylene. The cross linked polyethylene insulation resists shrinking when soldering and has excellent dielectric properties, close to Teflon without the drawbacks, and it sounds excellent. Auric hook up wire is cryogenically treated. For loudspeaker hook up apply a mild twist to the + and – to minimize radiation, noise pick up and reduce inductance.

Auric OHNO hook up wire is identical to the standard wire in every way, except that it is made of OHNO wire. The OHNO wire is far superior and is recommended, if budget permits, for signal and speaker hook up. Audience uses the OHNO 21 AWG wire exclusively throughout all Audience components and loudspeakers and Aura-T capacitor leads. The performance of Auric OHNO wire is very similar to that of Audience Au24 cables.
